Online Event: “Remote Sound Editing Workflow for Film” – 3/30/21

Let’s get a fresh perspective on editorial sound from some very serious audio post pros.

As part of Manhattan Edit Workshop’s series, “Sight, Sound and Story”, Janet Dalton and Jason Banke have gathered artists and collaborators in the world of sound to explore their creative and technical collaboration from the edit to the mix.

The latest “Sight, Sound and Story” focuses on sound editing, Tuesday March 30th.

postPerspective’s Randi Altman will moderate “Remote Sound Editing Workflow for Film” on March 30th, 2021, at 5pm EDT. This online event is free to attend, register here.

Robert Hein, Josh Berger, Grant Elder, and Ian Cymore, have worked as a team for many years, collaborating on a host of projects.  On this panel, the team will discuss their creative and technical process through sound editorial on Ron Howard’s “Hillbilly Elegy” and Disney’s “Noelle.”

In sharing their editorial workflow, they hope to inspire sound editorial teams with different approaches to creatively collaborating for both sound design and dialogue editorial in preparation for any mix.

All attendees who register for this event will receive a link and password to Vimeo Live 30 minutes prior to the event.  The event will be live at 5pm EDT/ 2Ppm PDT on March 30th.  This will gain free access for all attendees who register.

After the panel there will be a chance to ask questions in a live Q&A session. To register, please visit here.
