Party Pics! Pomann Sound Celebrates the 20th Anniversary of DOUG
Pomann Sound was party central recently, as the midtown audio post facility celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the beloved animated sitcom DOUG.
The Voices Behind DOUG: Starting Bottom Left - Chris Phillips (Roger), above him Jim Brownold (Multiple Characters), Fred Newman (Skeeter) Becca Lish (Judy Funnie ) Bob Pomann (owner Pomann Sound), Bruce Bayley Johnson (Mr. Swirly), and Tom McHugh (Doug) .
An upbeat crowd of agents, ad agency execs, audio pros and actors rubbed elbows in the mixing suites and rooftop, as well as being treated to one of the most entertaining raffles ever, conducted by DOUG’s original cast: Tom McHugh, Becca Lish, Jim Brownold, Chris Phillips, Fred Newman, and Bruce Bayley Johnson.
Pomann Sound provided sound design and voice records for the Nickelodeon/Disney Emmy Award-winning animated series DOUG, which aired on Nickelodeon from 1991-1994, and on ABC from 1996-1999. A feature film version of DOUG was also released in 1999.
