Rain Computers (NJ) Introduces Live Book Studio and Ion Studio

Rain Computers (Ringwood, NJ) is set to debut two products from its new Fall lineup at this years NAMM Show.

LiveBook Studio is a high performance quad-core notebook based on Intel’s “Nehalem” Core i7 architecture. ION Studio is a high performance, rackmount audio/video computer that will be shown at NAMM with the industry-standard Pro Tools | HD3 system and two UAD expansion cards.

ION Studio is currently available through Rain Authorized Dealers like Best Buy, AMS and B&H Photo. The newest rackmount audio/video computer is already in use by such marquee Rain clientele as US Olympic Committee and DJ Johnny Juice, producer for Public Enemy, DMC and John Legend among others.

LiveBook Studio will be available for sale starting in early February 2010 with a trio of quad-core processors, a high performance drive up to 500GB and up to 8GB of 1333MHz DDR3 memory. It also features the new NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M sending 1GB of video memory to an ultra-high-resolution widescreen display making it ideal for mobile motion graphics and video editing.
