Sound Lounge Names Harrison Nalevansky EP, Justin “Sal” Kooy to Audio Engineer

The NYC audio post Sound Lounge has announced two personnel developments at its downtown location on Hudson Street.

Harrison Nalevansky is the new Executive Producer for Sound Lounge downtown.

First off, Sound Lounge has hired Harrison Nalevansky to the post of Executive Producer.

Nalevansky will be in charge of the Hudson mixing studio, which includes overseeing sales, production, scheduling and client relations. Previous to his post at Sound Lounge, Nalevansky was Manager of Development at Two Cats Media. Peruse his portfolio, and you’ll find clients including MTV, HBO, “Ugly Betty,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Entourage” and “Inside Edition.”

Simultaneously, Justin “Sal” Kooy has been promoted to the post of Audio Engineer.

Kooy’s audio post career began six years ago as an intern for Sound Lounge, followed by a position as Assistant Mixer to Sound Lounge Partner/Mixer Peter Holcomb at the facility’s 5th Avenue location. While at Sound Lounge’s Hudson Square location, Kooy has mixed TV shows for PBS, the Food Network, and independent film projects.
