Teachers, Das Racist, Janka Nabay Working Out of Wonderful Recording

Ben Bronfman and Eli Bush have been working on new music at NYC’s Wonderful Recording, producing tracks for their new band project tentatively called “Teachers.”

Das Racist's "Shut Up, Dude" was recorded and mixed at Wonderful Recording.

Located in SoHo, Wonderful Recording is setup to cater to what they define as “a new generation of independent musicians” (rappers, singers, laptop-producers, etc.) who are serious about their craft and want a professional treatment of their music in an intimate, personalized environment, at a reasonable price.

Check out the Wonderful facilities, and note the sizable vintage analog synth collection.

Wonderful also handled almost all of the recording and mixing on Das Racist’s debut release Shut Up, Dude. And, the Wonderful crew’s been helping to produce new material for Janka Nabay, a musician and political activist from Sierre Leone who’s on NYC’s True Panther Sounds.

This is also the studio responsible for the recording, mixing and mastering of almost all the material for Jade<3‘s IMHC Remix project, as well as her debut release It’s My Heart, Cookie. Check out both projects at Jade<3’s Bandcamp page.

The studio has also hosted Theophilus London, Red Wire Black Wire, Beem, Human Orchestra, James Kinney, The Unusuals, and many more. Visit the website for more information and to get in touch: http://www.wonderfulrecording.com.
