Tony Visconti to Record, Produce, Mix with Rock Trio Capsula

Super producer Tony Visconti certainly knows his ABC’s.

Capsula is set to get Visconti-ized.

Fresh off working with Bowie (David) on the brilliant new album The Next Day, NYC-based Visconti’s next alphabetical-order move is to work with Argentinian psychedelic rock trio Capsula.

Visconti will record, produce and mix the band’s upcoming record, Solar Secrets, which will drop in late spring/early summer 2013 on Krian Music Group.

Visconti’s sensibilities and Capsula’s raw, driving rock sound should prove to be a masterful match. Producer and group will converge at Saint Claire Recording Studio in Lexington, Kentucky.

Capsula, consisting of Martin Guevara (vocals/guitar), Coni Duchess (vocals/bass) and Nacho (drums) are reportedly big Bowie fans – they even record Ziggy Stardust for this recent documentary and album – and are connecting with Visconti after killing it at SXSW.
