Fast, Fun, FET Compressors

This week, I stop by the Plugin Alliance channel to explain how and why to use a FET compressor (aka “field-effect transistor”).

The fast attack time of FET compressors makes them a good fit for vocals, acoustic guitars, basses, snare drums, and parallel drum busses.

If you’re looking for tone, color, and aggressive forms of compression, these are super fun to grab.
